Reader Letters

by Jeff Lucas

Q: When looking at some of the TRV sessions on your site, I noticed that the first pages contain two sets of numbers. What do the numbers represent ?
A: The use of two sets of four numbers is a holdover from early remote viewing experiments where originally the actual cartesian coordinates were used for geographic location targets. The Target Reference Numbers are now generated at random and the digits alone have no meaning, significance or relationship to the target. They are assigned to a target cue (the name of the target or problem to be solved) and act as a prompt to initiate the process of TRV. Since they are random, they serve to keep the process blind and are useful for administrative purposes, to identify which target was worked. Prior to starting a session, the viewer only receives these numbers and then follows the stages of TRV structure, in order, working for usually forty five minutes in a single session.
Q: Does the use of coffee, tea or asprin adversely affect the TRV process or inhibit one's ability to remote view effectively?
A: This is a very common question. The only drug that we have seen have a continued adverse effect on TRV ability (for weeks after discontinuing its use) is the chronic use of marijuana. However, one cannot effectively TRV while under the influence of mood altering drugs taken recreationally, such as alcohol, etc. This does not include coffee, tea, nicotine or most doctor prescribed pain medications.
Q: Should a full & complete (S1-S4) session be employed to determine the winner of a sporting event where 2 teams are involved,(e.g. hockey game)?
A: For TRV problems sets as elementary as those under discussion, we can often pick out the "winner(s)" as early as the S3 abstract-symbolic sketch. It all depends upon the strategem selected by the unconscious: are you going to end up describing a winning team's helmet or jockey's jersey? A unique feature in a winning team's home town? Don't constrain the cue to what you 'think' might be the best identifier -- the general term "winner" or "winning team" will allow unconscious free rein to employ the optimum strategem for the solution to your contest outcome problem. A course is now available which trains advanced level students in a multitude of gambling and contest TRV techniques among the new TRV 300 series of graduate courses at www.trvuniversity.com.
Q:  I would like to write an article for your newsletter. Do you accept submissions?
A: Yes, we welcome submissions from readers, particularly TRV students. Send articles to matrix-editor@psitech.net.
Q:  Would it be considered outside of structure to create pre-generated forms in which to place our TRV Data? Specifically, I am thinking about the Stage 4, 8-column table. If this would be considered outside of structure, is it due to the pace and keeping in contact with the target while drawing the table, etc. Thanks!
A: Using a pre-generated S4 table is okay as long as it is exactly the same format as TRV protocol requires.
Q:  I have found that when trying to write so quickly during my sessions they tend to be sloppy. But if I slow down even a fraction to be neat, it seems like I lose contact. I have just started my training. Is this a major problem with most new viewers?
A: It's better to keep the signal line than worry about neatness for now. As time goes on and you continue at a snappy speed, TRV structure becomes an autonomic impulse. You wont need to think about "what to do next." You will be able to perform quickly and neatly.
Q:  If one receives targets from a family member or spouse, have you found that the data is more accurate? That seems to be the case with me and my wife.
A: Telepathic overlay is typical and effects every TRVer at some point, usually in the beginning of learning TRV structure. However, we are not training telepathy. Tuning in telepathically does NOT make the target data more accurate - it only overlays the target data with the tasker's thoughts and/or feelings about the target. It actually dilutes the data. A trained TRVer learns to recognize this and deal with it accordingly.
Q:  Is the Quick Start a good place to start in order to find out if one can learn and do the system?
A: Using the Quickstart system isn't really an indicator of how well you will do if you choose to enter a complete training program. Quickstart simply gives one a taste of what remote viewing is like; allowing you to test your natural ability using a modified form of TRV structure against five simple targets. We have found that virtually anyone can learn the skill of TRV, regardless of innate talent, provided that one is able to follow instructions, stay in structure, practice and put forth the effort.
Q:  When probing the mind of a deceased person what will happen if you don't specify a specific time frame during that persons life? 'When' in the target persons life will the information come from?
A: The most novel, unique, or eminently important.
Q:  ie: from the mind of John Doe With the above cue will the Matrix even regard time or will it deliver up a general overview of the target person?
A: It will deliver up a general over view after it grabs the significant markers in the persons life.
Q:  At the risk of sounding too esoteric... Will the matrix deliver up the most productive information with respect to the particular viewer?
A: Not to the Remote Viewer but to the particular cue.
Q: If my target cue is The Alps, and I put a photo of a team of explorers in bright colors setting up a camp, am I going to mostly get the camp and the explorers, or mostly the Alps, or both?
A: If the cue is only "The Alps" you may get aspects of the campers (regardless if they are in bright colors or not), however, a disciplined TRVer will mainly focus in on collecting data about "The Alps."
Q: As a matter of cuing and finding targets according to a reference, since given a number of the form ****/****, you have a billion possible assignments. I would certainly say that there are ample numbers for targets that people could think of. However, what would happen if, say, someone gave the number 1234/5678 to a target, then so many days later, someone different inadvertently gave the same number to a completely different target. Would it be the case that my subconscious would cue the one it thought I would appreciate more? I have been working on level one for about 14 targets, at a rate of about 2-3 a day. The last 4 have been spot on. Just like to say a thank you for providing me with the chance to learn this!
A: That problem is solved by intent. When you receive the TRNs from the person who cued and created it, your intent is to remote view the target assigned to those TRNs that he or she gave you - not the target created by someone else on the other side of the world. However, if any two targets in a single target pool have the same TRNs assigned to them, you may morph target information from both targets into your session.
