TRV University: A New Way to Learn TRV!

by Rob Hopping, Director of Product Development

For many years I have been fascinated with the concept of learning. From simple tasks like tying shoe laces, to more complex challenges like learning math or a foreign language, acquiring knowledge that can be translated into a useful skill is an amazing and often mysterious process. And I believe most people would agree, LEARNING is a key ingredient to a successful life.

Learning Technical Remote Viewing skills changes lives. The benefits range from finding optimum mates to managing successful careers. However, acquiring TRV skills is a challenge. Anyone who has studied TRV, either through PSI TECH's live trainings or their video-based learning systems, will tell you that the rigor and discipline required to acquire TRV skills is demanding. Consistent study, practice, and compliance with PSI TECH's learning structure is necessary so that the skills are properly instilled. The good news is that if students are disciplined and adhere strictly to the TRV structure and protocols, they will learn this life-changing skill. The not-so-good news is that if they donąt - they wonąt.

History of PSI TECH's TRV Training

PSI TECH's challenge for more than a decade has been to teach TRV effectively - which means developing learning processes that enable students to efficiently acquire TRV skills. These processes evolved over time and involved hands-on instruction; testing various learning strategies and methodologies that produced desired results. Let me explain.

In the early days of PSI TECH TRV training, students studied with instructors. This one-on-one approach enabled close monitoring of student progress and allowed PSI TECH to perfect the teaching of TRV skills. The obvious limitation to this kind of instruction was that teachers and students were required to be in the same place at the same time; and the number of students who could be trained at any given time was limited to the number of qualified and available instructors. This method of instruction was necessary for developing effective training systems, but not for accommodating the growing number of people who wanted to learn Technical Remote Viewing.

Once PSI TECH was satisfied that their training system was "bullet proof" and virtually anyone could learn TRV using it, they decided to create video-based training courses that students could use on their own. As a result of national TV and radio interviews, documentaries, and advertisements, thousands of courses were distributed. New courses were added and the growing number of successful TRV students proved that video-based training was a viable method of learning Technical Remote Viewing. But was it good enough? Was this distance learning method the best way to train students? Were students complying with the course structure? Were they following the lectures; completing assignments; and taking the self tests? These were valid questions that needed to be answered?

Self Study: What the Experts Have to Say

During the development of a variety of self study courses over the last ten years, I've worked with teachers, curriculum developers, and professional trainers. While all believed in the value and viability of this method of learning, they all agreed it had one glaring deficiency: IF STUDENTS DO NOT ADHERE TO COURSE REQUIREMENTS, THEY CAN'T LEARN THE DESIRED SKILLS! The obvious reason is that if they don't, i.e. not reading assignments, not practicing, not taking tests, etc., they simply can't learn the skill. Professionals in this field refer to this deficiency as the non-compliance factor. In other words, self study means that students must rely on themselves to follow the course structure; successfully completing each assignment before moving on to the next. And the reality is that many students, for whatever reason, donąt always comply with the course requirements.

TRV Training @ TRVU

The evolution of PSI TECH's self study courses has led to a new distance learning model: TRV University. Using all of their experience gained from one-on-one training, the development of beginner through advanced video-based courses, and ongoing professional TRV special projects, PSI TECH has eliminated the non-compliance factor inherent in self study courses. By creating a system that enables students the flexibility of designing their own learning schedule, yet requiring compliance for completion of each training assignment through a sophisticated computer-based system, PSI TECH has created the ideal learning environment.

I believe that TRV University will have a profound impact not only the way students can learn Technical Remote Viewing, but on virtually any skill that uses this new learning model. It truly is the best of all worlds.
