Six Degrees of Separation
By Rick Szolnoky
Rick, a professional musician and web and graphics designer living in Toronto, found PSI TECH in an unusual way. This is his story.
Many years ago I had a friend who was very good at mind manipulation and NLP techniques (otherwise known as Hypnosis Therapy). I was young and did not realize that I was being used in a negative format, as a guinea pig for a person who was studying that process. The experience collapsed my positive anchors and replaced them with negative ones, thus making my life hell for a while.
My life was in a downward spiral and everything was literally beginning to disintegrate before my eyes. My relationships, my career, even my goals, were all being negatively impacted. I had so many negative anchors without realizing it, that I had to do something about it. I went to a professional NLP master practitioner who helped me undo virtually all the crap I had been subjected to, by re-enforcing the positive anchors again permanently. At the end of it all, the practitioner encouraged me to listen to Dane Spotts' Zygon tapes. It was ironic, that earlier the same so called friend that messed me up lent me the Zygon tapes as well. I remember listening to those tapes and experiencing a great sense of calm; it was really the only thing at the time that helped me completely focus my inner self.
Years passed, and I finally got my life back together and was developing professional web sites and graphics for a living. One day on a whim, I decided to check out whether or not there was a web site for those tapes I loved so much, the Zygon tapes. I wanted to purchase them if they were still around. I went to the mind-tek.com web site where I found a link to the PSI TECH site.
After perusing the site a couple of times I found the chatroom, and that's when things changed. I went in to ask questions about the Ultra Meditation CD's and realized nobody was really interested in talking about it but they kept mentioning something called TRV. This puzzled me for a while, and then I actually spoke to the originator of the original Zygon tapes, Dane Spotts. This blew my mind, because I never would have imagined ever speaking to the creator, let alone have a conversation with him.
He enlightened me yet again, only this time it was through the chat about TRV and what it was. It was funny actually, I went in there with the intent of finding out more about the Ultra Med tapes and left with a completely different focus on what I wanted to learn. The new focus was Technical Remote Viewing. I remember vaguely watching something on the TV program "Sightings" about it but never paid any attention to the subject after that, thinking that it was too inaccessible to the public to pursue.
Much to my surprise I was asked to design parts of the PSI TECH web site and to start learning TRV. Since then I've not only added some little nuances to the PSI TECH web site but also learned the basics in TRV. It's definitely a Pandora's box. I love it, and just can't picture not having the skill now. I've helped people with it and now I'm working with a fellow TRVer on special projects to help others.
It still blows my mind and I try not to think about it. I now own a business called neurosites, I aid in the design of a site called remote-viewing-you.com, and I can now TRV. You know that burning feeling you get that says to you "I should be doing something important in life" but you never really know what that something is? Let's just say that I'm quenching the flames from that long awaited question. I don't feel special about being able to TRV cause anyone can do it, I just feel like I'm doing what I should be doing, coincidence or not. It was a fluke that led me to PSI TECH and I'm grateful indeed.
I am indebted to Dane Spotts and Joni for their efforts and kindness they have shown me, as well as all the great people involved, and have a deep respect and appreciation for what PSI TECH stands for and for what they teach. Not only have I found the Ultra Med sound tracks again but also TRV, which is worth more than money and is definitely worth anyone's time who is not lazy and is willing and has the discipline to learn.
I've never felt more at home with anything than this, and want to be a part of it and help out any way I can. Let me close by repeating one of my favorite quotes:
"In order to do something you have never done before, you must become someone you've never been"- Les Brown.
I have adapted, overcome, and am seeing the world with new eyes.
