Of Mice and Pen
by PSI TECH President & Remote Viewer Joni Dourif
Imagine if you will, only the vast surface of the ocean…
You have seen its reflective cover many times. It’s expansive and it’s expressive. You take notice of it more when it curls up and crashes down and makes loud roaring sounds. But most of the time you just assume that it’s there “doing its ocean thing.” It has always been there, on the edge of your awareness either lurking in your periphery or lunging like a heart beat, front and center, or somewhere in your surroundings, sometimes of your choosing.
Imagine now, that you’ve never seen beneath the ocean surface and neither has any other person. So no one really knows very much about it. As mysteries remain unknown over long periods of time, stories are created about them. Imagine the stories that a vast-reflective-dynamic-surrounding-surface would create; stories that become tales of imaginary adventures used to explain and entertain the reoccurring curiosity of our innate human nature. They are circulated around from one generation to the next and passed along for so long that they become folklore, myth, and legends. They are symbols or fables that serve as gestures of identity in mankind’s quest for meaning and purpose amid his vast surroundings of unknown mysteries.
The stories describe magical worlds of wonder that can hinder or enhance. As the entertainment value attracts more attention, the story plots grow more intense. The marriage of imagination combined with unknown content creates tales of dragons and fights with giants and good fairies confronting evil demons. The drama increases as the popularity expands and the lack of real information ends up leading you down a story road to horror where imagination ends. The stories borderline hysteria and begin to challenge notions of sanity. As imagination is limited, it can only create from itself again, so the magic grows into monsters, who end up fighting the age old battle of sublime good versus repugnant evil and around and around we go again.
Then, consistently and at random, an anomalous event occurs and presents us with a conundrum that piques our curiosity and keeps us in a state of wonder.

One day a friend happens along and tells you that you no longer have to be helpless in a world of bewildering mysteries. The friend explains that you can see anywhere you want if you only learn this little instruction. It sounds like magic at first, but the friend explains that if you follow these simple directions then you will be able to “perceive” the reality of your unknown mysteries. To know the truth of what you could only guess about before sounds unbelievable yet you are compelled by a feeling of familiarity as well. Your friend advises you that once you do this and can “perceive” at will, you will know the difference between your limited sense of sight and your unlimited perception. Your friend repeats again, “Your world will be forever changed.”
You have a curious nature and you feel compelled to find out now, so you carefully follow the directions and then you head out to explore where no other men have gone before. Following your dictate, you peer down through the surface. You cannot believe what you perceive—as you gaze gasping, “Oh my God!”—for in that moment, a reality is exposed that you could not have imagined. It’s a world so fluid and vibrant, filled with many types of life that are so very different from what you’ve ever known. You are struck with awe and wonder as you realize the reality that was hidden from you, all the while, existing all around you. You just transcended barriers that you didn’t know existed, that were limiting your realities, in your own mind and also, subsequently, in your surroundings. All the stories you’ve heard seem far too trite to entertain now. You have just gone on the trip with no return ticket. You’ve seen through the camouflage, the facade of the surface. The blocks are removed that expose your surrounding depths. This is not a story of primitive regions. It’s a new world that piques your interest and somehow intertwines with your own. It is not a fleeting sighting or a flickering reflection, it’s as real as you feel and as present as your surrounding oceans. The surface that used to act as a limitation and blockade has changed into an endless depth of adventure that requires your new found perception to explore and comprehend the new and novel information.
It’s obvious now that the trip you took was much more then just a mere excursion. You recall how you mentally shrugged when your friend told you that “your world will be forever changed.” Many people who learn the skill of Technical Remote Viewing have anomalous experiences into paranormal worlds. It causes one to wonder if TRV is the language that links human awareness to an infinite reality that lies just beyond our limited conscious thinking.
It takes some time for our minds to filter through the stories that we’ve been so inclined to believe for so long. However, it becomes evident, that the more we apply our TRV skills, the faster we discover what parts of our belief systems sprung from only imagination. We learn to understand ourselves better while discovering different parts of our mind. We naturally readjust, as our systems shift to accommodate our newly acquired skill. TRV becomes an internal operation that naturally separates our accurate perception from our creative imagination. As we TRV, we use our own physical senses and we become our own essential tool for discovery as we heighten our awareness.

But why speak of these realities using so much soliloquy and similes?
It is all so new that there is no other way to accurately describe the process, so we use other examples of boundaries that we have already transcended. It is our obligation to find out how to tell what is real in ourselves and our world and what is our imagination. The ability to tap into our minds unlimited capacity helps us to develop compassion for understanding our more primitive human nature. Once we begin the process of learning Technical Remote Viewing, we can’t help but grow wiser and in-turn, we push forth evolution on all of humanity...
The things we discover about our universe are often myth-shattering. Are ET’s and UFO’s real or imagined? If some of the sightings are real what are they doing here? What is the role of mankind in the universe? How do we develop our potential as humans and reach out into outer and inner space to discover new worlds of possibility? To dive deep into the waters of the unknown and explore the vast undiscovered and uncharted territories of the unknown. This is what Technical Remote Viewers are trained to do. If you are willing to follow a special little instruction...
